In lesson 1 of Balloon Fest, I was unable to get the Object Lesson "On the Rise" to work.  I followed the instructions exactly, tried it three times (experimenting both with baking soda & yeast), and no luck!  I'm glad I didn't prepare for all the kids to be trying the experiment!    I'm past this lesson now, but I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else had similar problems.

On the whole, I love LIO!  It's easy prep & my teachers love it!  Most importantly, though, the kids love it and are learning.
