| | Hi, me again! I am hard at work on the extreme makeover idea that we are developing...an encounter with God will RADICALLY change your life...and my music guy is in a panic. He can't find anything that he thinks will work. (He is really great at translating, but not so great at searching). Does anyone have any ideas for a great, uplifting, catchy theme song (can be in English or Spanish)? (Not used by Group in the programs since LL, since we sing those ALL the time in children's church). Plus any other songs that might fit the subject matter?! I know that you guys have great ideas and are a big help to me. Thanks for serving with me in this way. Jody |

| | What about the one that goes: You make me want to be like You Your holiness I will pursue I want the heart of Jesus Show me the meaning of Your grace I want to give the world a taste Of the love of Jesus
Chorus: Make me salt make me light Let revival fire ignite Reveal Your glory in my life I am not ashamed to lift up Your holy name Make me salt make me light
Bridge: Set me as a city on a hill a lamp upon a stand Mold me in Your image the work of Your hand Chording, etc can be found here: http://www.pwarchive.com/song.aspx?SongID=2796&v=1 For a slower one, in addition, you could do the old standard "Change My Heart, O God" http://www.pwarchive.com/song.aspx?SongID=101&v=1

| | What about "Fingerprints of God" by Steven Curtis Chapman? It certainly speaks to the difference in the way we see ourselves if we're looking through God's eyes. JOY |

| | Wow guys, those are great ideas. I really like the Fingerprints of God. I sent the ideas on to my music guy. He too likes the Fingerprints one but says it may be hard to translate. :-) But if anyone can do it, he can. Others I had thought of were... Trading my sorrows He who began a good work in you Mighty is our God Be Bold, Be Strong Any other great ideas would be appreciated. Thanks to you all! |

| How about Undignified by David Crowder? With the repetitive theme of "I'll become" it fits. Also, it is very high energy, guaranteed to get your kids going.
I will dance
I will sing
To be mad
For my King
Nothing Lord
Is hindering
This passion in my soul
Chorus:
And I'll become
Even more undignified than this
Some may say
It's foolishness
But I'll become
Even more undignified than this
Leave my pride
By my side

| | There's an oldy from the Cathedrals that our choir does occasionally, and it is kind of 'bouncy'.. "He made a change"; He made a change in way that I'm walking. He made a change in the way that I'm talking. All things passed away, He made everything new He made a change in the life that I'm living I'm born again, set free, finally forgiven If He can make a change in me, He can make a change in you. I found the words and music at https://www.europeanchoralclub.com/catalogus/cat2.pdf |

| Our kids love Undignifies. I am also thinking about using his "Sing like the saved" some this year. David Crowder is actually from my church...
