| We just had a wonderful time today. Our Sing & Play Stampede Leader was great. This is the best our kids have responded to the songs and everything in the opening and closing. She had a teen who actually led the songs, and we had 15+ teens who showed up to help with games, crafts, and crew leaders. The station leaders said they were a bigger help than most of their adult assistants. I'm so proud of them. I've seen it before at other churches, too, a lot of the time the adults will talk to each other instead of focusing on the kids.
It rained, but it didn't dampen the spirits. I'm so tired, but glad everyone had a wonderful day in fellowship and fun. Oh, and you all have to use the big fan in the Showtime Roundup for Day 1. My husband had one just like the picture in book. She got one volunteer to stand in front of it, and all the others kids wanted to try it too, so she let them. A big wow factor.
