| | Hi! I am in Olmsted Falls (southwest Cleveland suburb). We are starting a NEW United Methodist church in our town and VBS will be our first BIG event. I've never directed VBS before, but have attended Group's programs for the last 2 years as a crew leader. We don't have a congregation -- worship services will begin in September, after VBS. So far, God has provided a location, some willing leaders, a music educator for the opening/closing and someone to coordinate Family Night. I expect to have lots of questions and get lots of ideas from the more experienced disciples here on the list. Chris

| I have been off the post for over a month busy with other fund raisers. Now it is over with and I can get on with VBS. We are 40 min outside Columbus East. Looking for the best deal on the memory bible buddies. If anyone has left overs I need some.

| Postcard mailing to community, flyers handed out in schools, walking in 2 community parades, outside banner at site, article in local community paper, posters on community bulletin boards, ad in local community paper, door hangers in subdivisions. Whew -- I'm tired just thinking about it!
