I saw a craft where you take old crayons, put them in a shaped cupcake tin and melt them.  I have a star cupcake tin and loads of crayons.  I was thinking about doing this using a star cupcake tin and give each of the preschool children a star crayon to take home and use.

I have also made AR Buddy coloring pages for the kids to do.  Thought they can do it if they have extra time at the end of their craft time or I can send them home to do.  I used the line art drawing from the clip art CD and put one buddy per page for the children to color in.  This may be fun to do with the star crayon.

I am not sure how to tie the star crayon in with the AR theme.  I though of trying to tie it in with the star badge for the sheriff but can't quit come up with a good idea.

Anyone have any suggestions?

On day 2, one of the books talks about the stars.   Even when we can't see them the stars are always there just as God is with us.  Check out the day 2 crafts.  One of them has a star.

Barbara -

Thank you so much for that suggestion.  I really like that.  I actually lead the preschool kids so I only have the preschool leader manual.  Is there anything else that it says?

Thank you!!
