| I need some ideas for my posters. I'm taking some pictures of church members to put on them. I know I saw some on this site but I did a search and couldn't find them. Thanks in advance

| I came on looking for some Wanted ideas also. I had already made a few simple ones that just said "Wanted" at the top and "By God" on the bottom. My signs have only the children from the church. I hadn't thought of putting the pastor(s) like the other link had, but that's an idea. My others have: "wanted" and on the bottom "by God our Savior (in bold) regular type:"who wants all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth" 1Timothy 2:4 "wanted" "For sharing God's Love" (smaller type) "Caution: May be armed with the Word" and the last "For living for the Lord" "Caution: Will be happy" I don't know if those are helpful, but good luck in your search! | we have some creative ones, thanks to my fiance, who is a cop!- wanted for gambling: taking chances to spread God's word wanted for robbery: stealing the hearts of her loved ones wanted for stalking: keeping loved ones accountable at all times wanted for disorderly conduct: being reckless for God wanted for starting riots: spreading the joy of the Lord wanted for drunkenness: being filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18) wanted for possessing weapons: using worship to fight the Enemy (he's a worship leader) there are some more but i can't think of them at the moment : T

These are cute! Just in time for our wanted posters going up this week over all the pastor's pictures in the hall! I cut out the centers of the posters to frame the pics and needed some sayings. Thanks so much!

Okay, am stealing as many ideas as I can while my son is in the hospital. Our VBS doesn't start until the first part of July.
So this is what I have and also where I need help.
First off, I would LOVE to see some of the WANTED posters. I had someone send me the church directory photos of the staff, so I shall be working on these hopefully tomorrow and this weekend. How were they done? Printed on regular copy paper and put on brown paper bag, crumpled and edges burned (that's my vision so far until I hear otherwise)?
WANTED POSTERS:
(Preacher) Wild Larry: Wanted for gambling-Winning souls in a game of grace
(Preacher's son-Youth Minister): David "The Kid": Wanted for arson-Setting the youth on fire for God
(Asst. Preacher) Cow Patti-Wanted for rowdy behavior-Filled with the Holy Spirit
(Minister with Adults/Missions) Doc Jeannie-Wanted for gambling-Taking chances to spread God's Word
(Ministries coordinator-but really music is her thing) Singin' Susan-Wanted for raisin' a ruckus-Making a joyful noise
(Minister to preschoolers/children)-Ann Oakley-Wanted for rustling-Steering kids to Jesus

I'm loving this thread. These are things (figuring out/designing WANTED posters)I can do sitting at a computer.
Any suggestions/ideas?

| Some of the names we used were Rattler, Sidewinder, Thunder, Bullseye, Bronco (he is a big Broncos fan), Lightnin', Calamity, Starbuc' (she loves coffee). Other names we were thinking of but didn't use were Ace, Dueling Iron, Duke, Buc, Hoss, Diamond, Baby, Rose, Mini Pearl, Little Britches and a few others. We did group our 9 into a Rusty Spur Gang. I just tried to think about the person and see what would fit. That being said here are a few suggestions. Calamity Jane could be wanted for quick draw of the hands or something like that. Duelin' Dennis could be wanted for Truth Trackin' Linda could be Lucky, Little, or something to fit her personality. Wanted for well I am at a bit of a loss there. Tammy could be Talkin', Terrific, Typhoon, and wanted for fielding the herd. I used the website from above that I listed previously to look up terminology and to look at the words. Some of it cracked me up. Anyways, hope this helps some. ~Sheryl
