I am starting buc now.  He is tall and so fun too.  I am putting the first coats of paint on him.  I Notice my husband and dad forgot to draw the ears on and so now I have to free hand them in. Luckly it no problem.  Buc is now all ruff in and painted some . I have to take pictures and post so you all can see.  He is allot easier than the last buddy

God bless

Looks great Doreen.  I'm thinking of switching from foam to wood this year, too.  What kind/size are you using and are you noticing any bend in it?  Did you prep the wood at all?  I hope the painting itself isn't too different.  Thanks in advance.

My dad is the one who is doing the wood for me. he used a thin board that he has glued on wood to the back of them . so no bending really in the wood.  I will take a picture of the back for you all to show the bracing he has done. My Dad painted the wood with a primer and then I took it from there.  I am using the apple barrel paints and it goes on so smooth.  Doesn't take allot of paint either.   I will get puzy and tke a photo for you. That is if I can do it on my own.  They are not light.

God bless
