Hi, Edith! Because Amazing Race was the first large-themed event released in that format, I'd suggest getting onto the Girlfriends forum (enter through girlfriendsunlimited.com) and look through the GREAT list under "Theme Ideas!" Then, pick a couple for which you are interested and post a request for others' ideas for that theme! Odds are, someone has done something along the same theme and can share ideas! Right, girlfriends?!

This is the first event that has been offered like this. If you want more ideas, check out the new book called "Chick Adventures: Wow Events for Women's Groups" that was just released from Group this week. It has five themed events you could choose from--and you get your Girlfriends discount on this too!

| I am new to Girlfriends Unlimited and waiting on my package. I have just been surfing and getting more excited. I ran across someone having an Amazing Race event and trying to find more info. It says to go to the Girlfriends Unlimited forum.....which only leads me to the Group forum. I am also looking for pictures of peoples events, girls nights, bulletin boards, displays, and kiosk of how some people have promoted their events. I am not having much luck. I have used the Group forum for Children's ministries and VBS before and always had great success and sometimes even overwhelmed by the vast information that is out there. I'm I looking at the right place? Is there just not that much participation in the ladies forums? Please help in any way you can. God Bless.

| Hi, Vonna! Much of the information you're looking for is in the Girlfriends Unlimited forum. This is the general Women's Ministry forum. The Girlfriends forum is only available to Girlfriends members, and you'll access it when you log into the Girlfriends website and click on forums. If you have trouble finding anything specifically, you can use the search tool (near the bottom of the forum in each topic category), or feel free to connect with me directly anytime! My email is slawrence@groupra.com. We rotate resources off the Downloads page as we post new ones (so be sure to save the ones currently posted!), but ALL past downloads will soon be available for purchase, which means you can pick and choose the specific themes and ideas you want! Of course, we give you plenty of ideas and resources for your year, but I know sometimes we want that one themed-guide or experience-guide that just rolled off the site  Hope this helps!
