Thank you so much for sharing your sunflowers.

My team painted 40 double-sided sunflowers on large foam core board to hang from the ceiling.  These are our crew signs (this gives the kids plenty of room to sing and dance)..  The addition of your large sunflowers will make our room pop!  I will take the materials with me to camp and work on them there.  I was looking for just such a project.

So did anyone make them? Pictures?

I made stalks by combining 3 or 4 different sized flower heads each on the garden stakes at various levels, taped them together and added more tissue leaves

Don't know if they still have it, but OTC sells it in sheets of 60. If ordering please use link below or on the SIFAR site. Type Product #  IN-57/60200. Thanks.

The only problem I had in making these was readily finding brown tissue paper. I had seen it around in the past but of course when I needed it I could not find it. Oriental Trading had some so I added it to our VBS order. Another option which I purchased from a dollar store before finding the OT brown was a dark metallic gold tissue that looks brownish. I will probably still use it on a few of them.

Yep that was my problem Kathy. I posted about it a couple of weeks ago and PJ found the correct one from OT

I have a crafty lady in my church making me a bunch of these.   I'm hoping to cover the walls of the snack area with them so it is like they are eating in a sunflower field.   Anyone have any ideas how to attach them to a wall or make them stand upright without damagaing the painted drywall walls?

I always stick mine into large (covered with decorative paper, etc) styrofoam blocks
