| We did the Heart Spa last year for our Ladies Retreat and it was a HUGE success! My ladies loved it - especially the time they had to actually fellowship and talk one-on-one with ladies they had become accustomed to the standard "How are you?" greeting given in passing every Sunday!
The "down side" - all though it's not really a down side as much as a learning experience, for our first every Ladies Retreat, I think we picked the absolutely HARDEST one to do! (It required a LOT of "stuff" and a lot of planning). In the end it was definitely worth it, though!
This year, we are doing the Chocolate Boutique, and I'm not sure if it's because it's our second retreat (and my leadership team and I feel we are quite the pro's now) or if it's just a matter of not needing as much stuff, but we are finding it so much easier!
God's speed to your retreat! With prayer surrounding it, and God working in it, you will no doubt have GREAT success!

| Hi, Donna! I coordinated HeartSpa in 2006 (Chocolate Boutique in 2007...and Bloomery will be in 2008!), and it was AWESOME! We actually invited women from other churches to facilitate the main and breakout sessions, and we served as hosts and coordinators. It really broke down walls among churches in our community and served as a springboard for getting women together on a more regular basis! This year, when we announced we were doing Chocolate Boutique, I had so many women wanting to help, I had to create teams of women to provide places for everyone to serve!!!!!
