| | Where do you hold your program? Do you rotate between the churches each year? Do you use more than 1 church building during the week? (Preschoolers at one location and elementary at another?) Hold it in a school? Hold it in a park? Hold it in a community building? I'm especially interested in how those who hold VBS in parks, etc. handle bathroom issues. The school where we've held our VBS for years is about to be torn down and the new school is now 2 miles away. Since many of our kids walk, we're going to have to figure out how to handle things next year. Neither church could handle 200 kids for the week, so I'm just curious how others do it!

| We held VBS in a vacant lot for 5 years. The property was owned by the town but was adjacent to a housing development. One of our church members lives next to the lot. We ran a heavy duty extension cord for the PA system for the first 3 years and used a generator the last 2 years. We rented a port-a-pot and had to chain it to her fence at night to prevent people from turning it over at night. (I never got desperate enough to use.)

| | Peggy- This is my first year directing a VBS and I will be having it in a Park VBS format. It's a different publisher but it'll work for what we need. The Park is very spaceous and shady. If you have a Park VBS, you will have to reserve the park. I have it reserved it for 5 days for the program and a one hour morning for the closing program. The program will be in the evening. I'll let you know how it goes. It's July 30 - August 3. God Bless, Josh T. in Ohio
