| My craft team got out the drill with the smallest drill bit they had (1/16? 1/32?) and drilled two small wholes less than 1/4 apart and then with a curved paperclip fished the piece of kite string from one hole to the other. They threaded 75 ping pong balls in about an hour once they got the process down.
The string through the ping pong ball will hold up much better.
We will still use glue dots for the feathers and googly eyes.
Hope this helps your VBS be a success.

| We have decided to use practice golf balls, they have holes in them and we can easily tie the string to it. Jini |

| | We bought the super balls on a string from OTC that say "Jesus Loves Me". The string was the exact length the Group directions tell you to cut it too- BONUS! They have a circular insert for a finger that fits nicely on the neck of the water bottle...then we used the water bottle cap to secure it closed. This craft was a hit with our kids. My girls brought to their swim meet this weekend, and I got lots of comments of how cool it was. |

| I used a long carpet needle and string to sew through the ping pong balls. It was easier than using a drill. The needle goes right through the ball, you pull the string through and tie a knot - so easy and quick!
