So does anyone else have their kit yet?  I've got mine and since VBS is over I guess I'll start looking at it!

I missed the DVD too! and a few other stuff, they really did a great job for HU, so now we will be comparing!

I'm glad that I took time to look at the kit before AR because I can use some stuff, like the cards for deco, the Posters (loved it! $10 less!), etc

Yeah, I'm hoping that maybe they post a recruiting commercial?  But that's not really completely necessary in our small church.  I got cowboy hats today at Target for one of the games.  I've got plenty of time, but I want to start getting people excited about the theme!

Love the stuff that's included though, including the CDs and trading cards.

Can you tell me what the Wild West Fall Fest is like?  We did HU last year and while it was a FANTASTIC program, we just didn't get enough bang for the buck.  We did it on Halloween night as an alternative to trick or treating.  We went all out, and ended up ministering to just our kids.  It was a LOT of work - a really great fun deal, but not the outreach we had hoped it would be.

What are the games and other things like in this year's fall fest?  I know I should be able to reuse decoratios and such - but not sure if we should just go to the fall fest down the road that does all the work for me

Maybe I'm have Post-VBS lead-in-the-behind syndrome...

La in La, we did HU last year and the games for WWFF seem MUCH simpler.  One great thing is that the kit comes complete with everything you need for 50 kids except the game stuff and candy!  CDS, photo frames, trading cards, etc.

We should be seeing a new subboard for Heroes and WWFF coming very soon here!

What is so different about Wild west fall fest from VBS?  It seems that the kids would be doing the same things (at least from what little I can tell about it).  This is our first year doing Group, and I love it!  Our last night is tomorrow night, and my Minister to Families asked me about Fall fest.  I told him I had no clue what it was, and after looking at the catalog, I still can't tell what it's all about (except that it's an alternative to Halloween).  Other than that, are they going to learn different things???

Kimberly,

Wild West Fall Fest is the same theme as Avalanche Ranch but different games, music, bible verses, etc. The only things that are the same are the crafts so VBS Directors can use their extra crafts for Fall Fest and the Bible Buddies. The Bible Buddies do have a new verse for Wild West Fall Fest.
