Our VBs start tomorrow and our preschool leader backed out last Sun.  and guess what.  It is up tp me.  We are in a small church and the pastors wife does not want to have a preschool, but I have a 3 yr old and I know that it is important,  Plus I know of at least 4 other PSer's.  So, I decided to go with it. (In addtion to Sing&Play, & Showtime.. No one will do anything) and BTW today my only 2 crew leaders told me that one will not be coming because she has ball games and the other (his mom is doing WBA has decided that he needs to help her instead of being  a crew leader even though she had a lady offer to help her.  today, I was intercepted at my car as soon as I got to church and the PW told me that I did not have the time to get everything done so her 17 year old daughter would help me get dinner ready each night..I needed to pick up the stuff and bring it to her house 30min away and dropit off. ( At least an hour round trip fpr me and I have 2 small kids) ha..we are having ham sandwiches....Please pray that God helps keep me in focus!!!!PLEASE!!! The past few days I have really wanted to say some things that are  probably not God's will- although he got angry and threw out the moneychangers and told the church ion Rev.  He would spew them out!!Just please pray for me.  The 18th is my BD and it would really be an awesome gift to have 50 kids at VBS and everyone work to honor God!!!!

With prayer,
Lynette

Lynette I have said a prayer for you. Trust the Lord with all your heart and don't let the cirstances around you dictate the outcome of your VBS. It will be awesome! Remember, this is His ministry and we do it for His glory. Even if just one life is touched and changed forever it will all be worth it. May the joy of the Lord be your strength. Have a very blessed and wonderful VBS. It's all about Jesus and the kids!

Lynette,

Uplifting you to the Lord. May everything go smoothly with your VBS. May God keep you calm so you can handle all the details and give you the JOY of being with the children that God sends to you this week.

Weel, last night we had 4 kids.  I was shocked.  In the pst years directing, we had always had arond 50 each night which was great considering they had run around 25 before.  we were gone from this church for a couple years and 1 they did not do VBS and the next it was a repeat of a proior year..My 3 year old was there and he loved it./  You know, I had  peace last night and a calm that only came from God.  After all the work, I would have loved 50 kids but God knows what is bestand He can bless.  Everyone else was discouraged and one lady even blamed me because on the flyers that we passed out which had the dates for our kickoff and phone number I had oput the dates but not time for VBS.  She told the pastor she noticed it several weeks ago.  Keep in mind her own daughter was not there she went to a ball game (even though they stopped to eat before hand).  You know, I had fun and the response from those  kids were worth it..One of them kives beside our church and has a pretty rough time..He is 8 and when he sees someone at church he comes over.  He really needs to be loved.  Anyway, God will take care of it and I am so less stressed today!!!!

With prayer,
Lynette

Hi,

just a report on last night.  Yesterday, I thought about doing all this stuff and then thought well we only had 4 and 2 were my son (3) and niece (2), so yesterday, I took my son to play and got to VBS a little later thatn I had planned ( I like to be anhour or two early) for last minute stuff.  Well, we had 16 kids come in.  It was nice and I know that God sent them.  He has worked everything out and I there was a huge answer to prayer last night and I am waiting to see how it will all work out.  Thanks for your prayers!!!!!

With prayer,
Lynette
