| | Hi! I am from a small church with sunday school attendance averaging less than 20 kids each week. Volunteers are few and not very regular. In our country, we do not have the four seasons and shipment of goods purchased from US may take weeks even with air freight. I am considering Group Bible Blitz as I wish to combine all age groups into one session given the small number of kids. Can I use it like an undated curriculum instead of following the quarterly schedule? 'Cos by the time, the shipment arrives, we may be a few weeks into the quarter already. The ideal curriculum would be one that is undated and full of options which kids from any race and culture can easily adapt and identify with, reproducible, electronically downloadable to do away with shipping time & costs and of course one that will impact the kids' lives for God. Any recommendations ? |

'Cos by the time, the shipment arrives, we may be a few weeks into the quarter already.Hands On Bible Blitz would work well and each lesson can stand alone. The lessons are dated, but you don't HAVE to follow that schedule. I replace the page with the lesson titles and dates with my own printed schedule before I hand the materials to my teachers and Blitz team leaders. I even switch the order of the lessons to fit my needs. The quarterly themes/ decorations can stay the same, so it's not an issue. I use Bible Blitz with a group of 25-30 children ages 1st through 5th grade! Multi-age grouping works AND it helps get younger ones and older ones actually reading their Bibles. The older ones love to read to the younger ones, and the way the younger ones look up to the older ones, it reinforces that reading the Bible is COOL! Plus, I only need one teacher who prepares the lesson and 5-6 leaders who facilitate a small group of 5-6 children. Lisa B from NC

| | Thanks for the advice, Lisab. I think I'd have to place the order now so that it will reach me on time. Had been busy with the annual sunday school children's camp as our school holidays just started. Thanks. |
