| I just want to say I love these boards. The topics and discussions are really encouraging! I love the new site!
This coming Friday our church is having a lock-in. I have to teach a lesson for 5th-8th graders. I am having a hard time brainstorming. My lesson should be done by now and I feel like I hit a lesson-block (like writer's block) I know that 5th and 6th graders have such a different mindset compared to an 8th grader.
I was going to teach on God's love, but I sat down and wrote out most thoughts and I find the topic very broad. A lesson on what we fill our minds with will fill our hearts- movies, music, etc.--- was another idea. I would like to try to include a movie or song in this lesson because I feel the youth really connect with that or maybe not!
However I am open to any thoughts or ideas. Thanks!
