| | We are having an ice cream social next month and instead of having a speaker we would like to have an open time of testimony using ice cream toppings. Any ideas? Also, we are thinking of having a clothing exchange for the women. Has anyone ever organized something like that? Thanks, Rachel |

| | Check out Women's Ministry in the 21st Century! There are several short devotion options in it! While there is not one specifically using ice cream toppings, I am sure any one of them can be modified to include an aspect/variety of ice cream toppings! Also, in the same book is a short section on a clothing exchange. I have not personally done one, but here are a few tips they give.. - be sure to ask for donations that are of "good" quality.
- Organize a team to sort the clothing by size, type, etc. (how to set up tables if you are having an actual events, etc.)
- Another team can serve on the day of the event...keeping everything in order, etc.
- Consider if you are going to accept/charge money and what you are going to do with the money (charity?).
Just a few ideas...Women's Ministry in the 21st Century is an EXCELLENT resource with TONS of ideas! Group released it around the time we were intentionally building our women's ministry, and it has been my FAVORITE women's ministry book! (That is saying a lot, because I read a LOT!)
