Have you looked at www.ssww.com or www.guildcraftinc.com?  They both have lots of craft ideas.

Two crafts that we did that were a little different were both from S & S. One was an ox yoke puzzle for "God is Strong"  http://www.ssww.com/search/?v=ox%20yoke%20puzzle

We also did the free standing cross - for day 4 (God is Awesome) this one we did some extra prep on because of the time restraints in crafts. http://www.ssww.com/store/product/sku=RE464/cmc=SRCH/v=c3RhbmRpbmcgY3Jvc3M%3D/p=1/

I had a hard time figuring out how to do the ox yoke puzzle (the instructions were a little too vague for me) but my son figured and out and taught me how and then it was easy to pass along to the kids.

The children really enjoyed both of these crafts.

I found the imitation leather bracelets at economyhandicrafts.com.  They arrived in about a week from our order date!

We made key chain crosses using 7 beads and 1 ft of leather cording.  It was a good craft for the older kids, a little challenging for the little kids.  a "keeper" craft that they could put on their backpacks when school starts.

We also took on a 3-day project that might be good for the older kids as well..you can use card board cutouts, wood or papier mache shapes (we used papier mache crosses, and will use smaller wooden ones when we take our VBS on our mission trip)  Day one they apply a design on the cross with white glue, day 2 they paint over the dried glue with gold or other metallic paint and day 3 they "distress" it by buffing over it with shoe polish.

We're having our middle school kids make the leather bracelets with stamping tools.  I bought some alphabet sets, horse, eagle, buffalo, cross, heart.  I got them from Tandy leather.  They had many animal stamps, Christian stamps, etc.                           Judi
