I'd like to hear from anyone who has attended a Workcamp in Valdosta in prior years. Our group is considering Valdosta in 2008, and it would be helpful to hear from someone about it and the surrounding area. Since we are in Massachusetts, we need to do our homework from afar.

Hey, I just got back from the Mission Trip on Saturday from the camp last week, it was the best camp that I have been on. I have been on 3 other then this one and by farr, this was the best one that I have been on, the community was so helpful and the houses were awesome the people were so friendly and the school was awesome, clean, cool, great food, and also nice showers !!! The comm. like I said help the Group Work camp out alot, it was a blast, I have some pictures of the school and stuff that I could email you adn let you see, if you would like but I would recommend that camp to you alot, It was just as a whole a awesome camp, I grew so much closer to God this week!!! But everything about this camp was pretty much GOOD !!! There was the falls but, everything you do in life is going to have falls but, most everything was awesome, Like I said I can email you or email me if you have any questions I would love to answer them for you, also the town was a pretty nice town, not a small town at all they had all kinds of places around!

The Valdosta community was great. They are very generous to the workcamp program. Our group of 25+went there in Jully 2006 from PA. The school has A/C, nice gym and showers. Food was good...sweet tea was nice treat, too. The town has a college atmosphere (most of the girls came home with Valdosta State sweatshirt from the college bookstore) with a southern hospitality and Wal-Mart for the all the extras you think you need. Some of our youth even put a vote in to return there in the next couple years. There is a nice water park that we visited on Wednesday afternoon during free time.
