Connie:  I will certainly be in prayer for you and your church.  I am appalled that Christians would act this way.  Perhaps some stronger leadership from the pulpit is needed.  If your decorating committee can't abide by the rules, they should be replaced.  If they leave the church, have you really lost any thing?  You hit the nail on the head when you said Satan won that one.  Perhaps everyone needs to stop and think "who are we doing this for - God or us?"  We also have a council run church, and their decisions are final.  Nobody goes against their decisions.

Hang in there - God will bless your work.

Connie,

I trust that your health has been holding up.  We have been praying for you.  When you get a chance and feel up to it, can you give us a follow up report.

Connie - God love you for being able to come to this forum and vent!  Why is a building so much more important than the ministy that it is supporting?  I've run into it in all 5 churches we've served.  I am praying for you...know that God loves you and so do all of on here who see your creation and LOVE for HIS kids.  Hang in there!

Blessings to you from Sue!

How horrible!! What was the outcome? I hope that the truth was able to be seen in this situation. The devil doesn't want those kids reached!!
