| | Emmy Great job. I started teaching Sunday school when I was 14 (and have never stopped). Both of our children did exactly what you have done, started helping me and now both are grown and very involved in Children's ministry. Glad you are so involved. God Bless. |

| | Emmy, I was amazed at your dedication. I've directed for 13 years and my daughters have certainly been a part of VBS preparation, but I can't think of any of our young people who would so dedicate themselves to do such a fabulous and professional job for the Lord. You have great talent and I percieve a true calling to VBS--a real VBS heart!! Keep up your enthusiam--I'm so touched by your dedication and the hours it must have taken you. I will be showing my 12 year old daughter these pictures hoping that it will inspire her to take on great tasks for the Lord. She has the creativity, but not always the energy and confidence. You've done a wonderful job and may God bless and multiply your talents and lead you into greater things for him. God belss you, Emmy--have a WONDERFUL VBS and be encouraged!! As someone who have taught children and youth half of my life, I am so proud of you!!! Heather in Ky |

| [/b]For our VBS i used chalk to create spider webs and told the kids we had a famous spider visiting us this week! The one and only "Charlotte" left messages in the webs--each days Bible points! It was another fun way to reinforce the message. Starting out i planned to re-do the web each day, but we decided to make new ones and keep the old ones up. Everyone looked around to find where the new web was for the day. Perfect timing since the movie hasn't been out for too long, and spider webs fit right in at our ranch! [/b] |

| Those decorations are just wonderful! I loved them all. You should be very proud of what you accomplished! You MUST make a portfolio of this for your future career plans(college scholarships, grants, etc.).

| Your decorations are great! I too started when I was 14. I did all the decorations and all the posters. I would have to look at the pictures and enlarge them on my own. There were no computers and my church was too poor for an overhead. But here I am-33 years later and I am still at it. I wish you were closer cuz I could sure use some help this week. Keep at it and you will indeed be able to use your gifts to glorify our Lord!!

| | debi. that is so funny. my aunt who is a teacher basically made me make a portfollio, i probably wouldnt even had taken any pictures if she didnt say so. and linda, not to be like anti sypathetic, but i think it would have been so cool to start out with basically nothing! thats probably my favorite way to do this kind of stuff. get donated stuff and spend hours trying to make it work, even i think that sounds really weird but i love it! im always up for a really good challenge! thanks for the support guys!

| Emmy, You're decorations are fantastic. It's wonderful to see you putting your talents to work for the Lord. I'm so glad to hear that AR went well. I know that all the kids were blessed by your efforts and by all the volunteers who gave their time to VBS. God is good!

Perfect attitude for VBS! I haven't had a chance to post much for a long time, but when I saw this, I just had to stop and comment. Emmy, your decor is FABULOUS. I am overwhelmed! God has given you an amazing talent and you are using it in such an awesome way. My favorite things are Chadder's theatre and the snack area horses, of course! Beautiful job- I hope to see you for many years with us here on the board. My daughter (also 14) reads the boards (she leads in singing at our VBS) and will be happy to see another person her age to get to know!

Mmm, this screen tastes good! |
