Greetings to all.  I have a question regarding the large Bible Buddies that Group is selling.  We purchased them for our VBS and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how they used them.  Did you attach them to foam board or cardboard?  Or did you just tape to the wall?

Any ideas on how I can display these would be fantastic!

Thanks!

I copied Kathy's idea because I thought the blue sky behind the characters looked really good.  She posted links in this thread:

in addition to painting the buddies on styrofoam we also bought a set of the posters.

i ran out of time and didnt get the on the styrofoam like i wanted. either way i wasnt too impressed. theyre not that big and it seems to be about the same amout of work as just painting them yourselves.

just a tip... i saw everyone had no way to attach them since most glues either dont stick or just melt the styrofaom.

my dad reccomened gorilla glue for when i was working with something else. the stuff is amazing! we found it at walmart, my dad said it was at lowes / home depot etc.

it sticks and holds. my avalanche ranch entrance / sign thing on our stage was all attached with gorilla glue, i also glued some poles together and it made very sturdy fences

that got a lot more wordy than i would have liked lol.

good luck!

We glued them easily with Elmer's glue onto cardboard...then  cut out with a box cutter...we have someone who is great at it....some of the cardboard trim that shows on the edges blended so well the characters it is hardly noticable.
