| Long time ago, we made heads of all the animals at Christmas. The child's face is the face you see but the rest is like a cap that snaps under the chin. The lambs were made of white felt with black ears. The donkey out of grey fabric with long grey ears with wire inside and black yarn for hair. The cow was made from brown material. We had a bull out of brown fabric with tan horns. The camel we made out of light tan material. The kids wore their regular clothes. The kids looked so cute.

| I'm trying to figure out what to do this year at Christmas myself. Our church is building a new building and I'm the Christmas program person. It needs to be something real special since it will be the first Christmas service in our new building. We are a small group but lots of heart. Any ideas?

| | We did "The Friendly Beasts" in our Christmas program last year. We did the same as Kathy with the costumes - they were just the hood with the child's face showing. You could have the kids wear sweatsuits to match the hood color. We had a cow, donkey, sheep, bunny and dove. The dove had wings as well as the hood. If you'd like I'll ask the lady who made the costumes for the pattern number.

| I know I am a little late to respond but I found a website that I wanted to share, it's www.cathysmusic.com. We did "A Piece of Christmas" last year and the "Assignment: Life!" for and Easter Program this past spring. She also has the options to just buy the songs individually instead of with the programs. I will be ordering from this coming years Christmas program from her within the next week.

| | I looked over Cathy's page. Has anyone out there done the Christmas Clinic? It sounds really cute but also shares the real story of Christmas. Thanks, Michele |
