| | I felt that the little box to put information in was way to small this year. Our church is on the outskirts of town and that was way too little to be viewed as a drive by at 50 mph. We make a print out of our church information in large print on sticker sheets and attach them to the banner. This has lasted through rain and wind.

| It's likely that a larger banner would cost more. How much more would you be willing to pay (and be honest!!)

It's likely that a larger banner would cost more. How much more would you be willing to pay (and be honest!!) I would say no more than $25-30. Just a thought but a bigger banner with less printing on it may not necessarily cost more. The AR banner at $23.00 has very little blank space and tons of color which must have been pretty costly to make. A bigger, less busy banner with much more space to add information would work well for us. The AR banner is 5' X 3' but I would like to see at least a 6' X 3 to 4' in the future. About 2/3 of the AR banner reserved for information would have been much more useful than the tiny space that it has.

It's likely that a larger banner would cost more. How much more would you be willing to pay (and be honest!!) Definitely bigger! Like I mentioned on another post earlier this forum bursts with tons of alternative ideas the help cut cost. I would have no problem paying more for a BIGGER banner. I am not sure how much people spend for commercially printed ones, but how about working on something that doesn't go over $39.99?

| | We get banners from the local Pepsi company for free. It has the Pepsi logo on one side. They even do all the writing for you on it. I put these on the road. I have the Group banner usually hanging over the registration table.

| | I would say no more than $35. Maybe if there was a digital print on maybe a little less than half of it, with a fade to the banner color? seems like yall could find someone that would do a digital print cheaper if it was primarily white space. like this:

Check out VBS Groupies for resources to help with the planning of your VBS.

It's likely that a larger banner would cost more. How much more would you be willing to pay (and be honest!!) I don't see how it would cost that much more. We did Standard this year and got a BIG banner for about $25. It was definitely bigger than Fiestas last year. Just have the logo on one side and a blank area on the other and we all can fill in in with our info. Everyone creates their banner a different way so all you really need is the VBS logo and the blank area.

| | I was also thinking along those lines Marshall. Much cleaner and easier to read at 40 MPH. Need a Logo that imprints the brain fast and still leaves time to read the sign info. Good visual! Our church has a longish name so we need some width. Either the logo at the side or bottom or off-set towards the corner on the left side/bottom/top

| | Yes, banner needs to be WAY bigger. I think the costs that people have given are reasonable. We do not buy the current one because it is too small and looked really wimpy our large front lawn the one year we tried it. Judi |
