Please pray for my family and our church. My dad (the Pastor) will be resigning this Sunday...this has been very hard for me especially, because my whole family will be attending another church, and I will be staying. Probelms within the church has caused this and I found out the first day of VBS. I most likley will not be doing PL next year since I don't know what God has in store and if the new Pastor would even want VBS (many don't know how effective this ministry is in our community!), but will be sticking around this board. Avalanche Ranch was a great experience and I would love to do VBS again, but only God knows what will happen.

Rebecca,

I will be praying that God's will would be done in your life with VBS and that your family would be happy with the new church that they will attend. May God bless you and your family!

God Bless,

Dear Rebecca,

I feel your pain especially after going through the high of a great VBS program. I know how much you worked to make this a meaningful program for your church. Know that God will be with you every step of the way and will help you. I keep your church in my prayers as it is hard to stay focus when there is difficulties and changing Pastors. I pray that who ever comes in will have a heart for children and will keep supporting a VBS program.

When you follow and let God lead.....a peace will come over you.

God Bless

Riverside Kathy

the church we were going to had the pastor leave for some of the same reasons. In the first part of May. Some of the members couldn't move forward and wanted to get thing stirred up. A church that almost died 5 years ago and this pastor and his family came and helped rebuild the church. Had started a new build to house us because we had out grown the build we were in.Then June some of the member forced the ex-pastor's wife and sons out the church too. That was when the first slit . took place. Then this past Wednesday night a other slit took place. My husband had left after the July 8th after evening service. My daughter and I stayed behind because of V.B.S. which starts this Monday and we were always ever active in the preschool area of the church. We were hurt so badly that night that we had to walk away from it. For the last two days we have both been ever sick.My daughter hasn't been able to go to work. Thank God her boss is ok with it. We are praying that the V.B.S. will go off on Monday for that church and for the children. Now to tell my 4 year grandson that we will not be going to V.B.S. after him help us make the decorations and find the crafts for the preschool age group. And about 1200.00 dollars we spent out of our pockets. Please pray for that church and for us that we can hear from God what he would have us do. And we will be praying for your family and the church too.

Hey Rebecca

I will put you guys on our pray list at church. I feel your pain. Our church went through a split about 4 years ago and so I know where your coming from. We lost all of the younger couples except for 4. We have a bus ministry so I stayed and I felt like God still wanted me to be their. To make a long story short. God has now blessed us with a great pastor. I'm going to pray that God gives you guidance and compassion, you'll need it.

Your Sister in Christ
