| | Well, I survived my 7th year directing VBS! We had 250 kids (down about 40 from last year) and we had almost 60 professions of faith (one being an adult!!!). We are having some problems in our church right now so the week was a little more stressful than usual but the Lord blessed and we had a great week!!! | | That was Tim, one of our deacons. We have a penny drop every year - girls against the boys. The two reps this year were very competitive - it was so much fun during the week hearing Tim and Karen 'trash talk' LOL The girls won so Tim got (what we loving have labeled) "Chuck Wagon Stew" dumped all over him! All of the kids got to bring a food item and we mixed them all together (3 buckets worth) and the winner (Karen) got to dump them all over the loser (Tim). It was very stinky.....
