| | I am looking for curriculum for my class ages 12 and up. I know that grapple says preteens, but I would like to know from those that have already purchased this, do you think teens would get excited about the grapple material or is the material too kiddy? I definitely like the online aspect of it. |

| While we have not purchased the Grapple curriculum for our students yet, we are considering it for our 6th graders as a transition study for their 6th grade year as they progress into youth. From what I have seen, the grapple curriculum is too kiddy for students above the age of 6th grade. That was who it was designed for and I would trust the publishers that say that it is them that it is best designed for. My personal opinion.
Now, if you are looking for curriculum for grades 7-12, I would highly recommend Student Life Bible Study. I have used it for 3 years now and the students love it! It is a 6 year curriculum that is designed to teach students God's Word in a real and relevant way. It is by far the best thing I have seen out there and believe me, we have looked at a lot of stuff. Check it out. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Good luck in your search and may God bless you in your ministry to students!

| | Grapple is intended for kids ages 10-12, and we don't really recommend it for kids older than that. However, we also find that depending on your geographic orientation, the maturity of kids can be different. Since you know your kids best, I would encourage you to take a look at our scope and sequence to see how you feel about it. If you find that it won't work for the kids you are teaching, keep your eyes peeled because we have a new curriculum for Youth coming out by the end of August that you may like. We also have FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum which has a Senior High age-level. You can download a sample at www.faithweaver.com. |
