| | I see in the flyer that there is suppose to be directions on how to make fake hay in the directors manual, but I can not find it anywhere. Does any one know where it is located? |

| Debby, are you talking about the Decorating Guide flyer that came in the starter kit? If you turn the flyer over to the back they give the directions for Homemade Hay at the bottom left hand corner.

| We can't use real hay because of peoples allergies so we get hay colored paper and run it through a shredder. We keep stored in large garbage bags and have used it several times over the years. Last year we used the "Hay" as sand for our beach VBS.

| | It must be nice to have a storage area. I had a small shed but they got rid of it. Now I have a couple things in the other shed, but space is very limited. I couldn't keep bags of 'hay' around. A good thing though. The teens were cleaning out our shed and decided to do an egg toss and egg roll with the easter eggs. I can only imagine the stories if they had rolled around in the hay. |

| | I've misplaced my flyer! Can someone post the directions of me? Thanks in advance!

| I'm going to try using the grass skirts from Lava Lava Island. While cleaning out the VBS closet I came across the LLI leftover box. I found a bunch of grass skirting we had used to decorate tables. They look perfect! We're going to glue them to a box that looks close to the size of a bale of straw and the wrap two pieces of baling twine.

| | Melodie, Sorry I haven't gotten back with you. I'll write out the directions for you from the flyer. "Homemade Hay: Paint plain packing boxes yellow or tan, and let the paint dry completely. (Spray paint may cause less warping of the cardboard.) Drizzle glue over one side of the box, and then press raffia or yellow paper shred onto the glue. Yellow paper shred will give your hay a more "cartoony" look than raffia." Hope that helps!
