| | What a great week we had...here are some photos, may add some later, too. http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2089300664 Hearing wonderful reports of how the children and even youth crew leaders responded to the truths they heard at AR and at the closing show, "Rowdy's Return." Last year when the theme was announced I didn't think I liked it...but we really got into it and so did the kids...the music was wonderful...the kids responded so well to the message of salvation offered on Day 4...had to switch the light bulb activity in Round Up a bit...the big bulbs were old and had some corrosion on them, so at the last minute decided to keep the bulbs on the cross and have each crew respond by going up to the cross and touch a bulb and pray. Just heard a testimony from a youth who was touched during the closing show when the children sang, Were You There....tears in his eyes...heard the gospel most of his life, but now it is real and he wants to share Jesus with others. thanks, Karen Grace Fellowship Church Shillington PA

Great pictures. Looks like you had a wild ride at Avalanche Ranch. Loved your donation board. What a cute idea. Loved all the sunflowers hanging from the ceiling in the pre school room.

| Want to also make some comments about the Closing Show, Rowdy's Return. It was a great script...we have been doing the closing show that Group has provided all along since Bug Safari...and I have directed the show all those years...the clarity of the plot has improved every year...While the Bug Safari and Scuba Dramas were cute, the plot was contrived and I believe pretty difficult for the children to follow. I did change this year's script a bit to have Morgan receive Jesus as her Savior instead of just learning about God as was written. Since there was no soundtrack as in years past, the actors had to memorize the dialogue but they were up for the challenge. We did add some sound effects, too. If it would be helpful for Group to see some video of the show let me know and I will upload it.
