I'd appreciate any prayers as we begin in about 1 1/2 hours (I need to get myself movin' so I can go set-up the sound board and music DVD..... )
We have 40 children pre-registered but we're praying for 120 this year. And there are still some things that haven't been worked out completely so I'm nervous about my part as a helper during S&PS and Showtime Round-Up plus my 5 year old has a stomach bug.
Thanks for praying!!

I'll be praying for your Avalanche Ranch VBS. May you have a wild ride through God's Word!

Wow, wow, wow..... hard to believe Day 1 is done!! I'm exhausted!
We had some serious technical difficulties this morning but my dear hubby came running over from work and was able to convert the songs from the DVD into mpgs so that we could use them. Argh--what a frustration though!
They were working fine last week but the computer we were using just developed serious problems with it's DVD drive. Anyway.... God is good, and He has greatly gifted my husband with tech abilities (and the patience to deal with me and the insanity that follows me!)

We had 95 kids come not including some of the pre-registered kids who will be coming tomorrow. So again, God is Good! Thanks for all your prayers as we tackle Day 2!

God IS good...all the time!  Wah-hoo!!  Glad your day went ok despite setbacks.  The funny thing is the kids probably never knew it was supposed to be different!!

How is your son's stomach bug??

Have a wonderful rest of the week!!

He is fully recovered---praise God! (Thanks for asking!!)
We're still having serious computer issues though.... and we're not going to fix it correctly because we start a major sanctuary renovation on Monday (3 days after VBS closes.)
So.... my hubby and I are headed in tonight to try to get it sorted out enough to be able to finish the week using the Sing and Play DVD.
3 more days!!!
