| We are a small church, with very limited resources. Tonight we had our second day of camp, and I wanted to share what we did with the craft. We used the preschool's craft idea and had all the campers paint river rocks. It was very inexpensive, only had to pay for paint, paintbrushes, and plates (to put the rock on). My sons and I went to a river and gathered a ton of rocks. We cleaned them up and set them out on the river we have as part of our set decoration. After Bible Adventures when they learned about crossing the river and building a rock memorial, each camper got to pick out a rock to bring to crafts. They then went to town painting and had a blast. We talked about where they would put their rock memorials and how whenever they look at them, they can remember that God is with us. All ages loved it, 3 year olds through the teen helpers!

| Limited resources call for creative ideas. Sometimes I think the most meaningful messages come from the least expensive materials. Congratulations on your successful art project. And you can save the brushes and left over paint for the next project your church has with kids. Your kids are blessed to have such a creative leader.
