Waiting is sooooo hard.  My son's devotion last night was about Jesus waiting to go to a friend's home until 2 days after he died.  The devotion stated that Jesus waited until after the death to show people that He did have power to bring his friend back from the dead.  Everyone knew that if He had come while His friend was still sick, that He would have the power to heal.   We know that God can bring us through the hardest of hard times.  He is our comfort in the darkest of times.  I truly believe it is harder to watch a loved one suffer than to be suffering ourselves.

You are in my prayers.
