Looking for ideas for a craft 15-30 families can do together to leave hanging up the entire year. Maybe a mural or banners? Has anyone incorporated the weaving theme into crafts, or created something at the beginning of the year that can be added to each week?

This is our first year using FaithWeaver and we are very excited about the material!

Welcome!

There are a couple of ideas for kick-offs in the FaithWeaver Director Manuals over the years. One that I'm thinking of that may work for you is something that could be done in front of the church. It's called a woven-faith tapestry. At the end of the service, you can hang it on a wall -- and perhaps add photos or notes to it over the course of the weeks of people being 'FaithWeavers' and living out their faith.

I can send you an email attachment of this activity if you'd like. Just email me (dbernard@group.com) if that would help.

Another idea is to create a cross out of foam core (or lumber, if you have someone handy with a hammer and nails/screws!) and chicken wire. Provide wide ribbon or strips of material, and have people write the name of someone who was/is a FaithWeaver in their life, someone who helped shape their faith. Then tie that ribbon/cloth onto the wire on the cross. You could add to this over the course of the quarter, and keep it is a visible reminder.

Hope that helps! Let us know if we can be of service in any other way. God bless you and your minsitry!
