It's been a couple of weeks, and it's taken me this long to recover completely. Unbelievably we had a tornado come through town during the night after the last night of our VBS. At least it didn't come through during the week! There was only minor damage done to our facility, but it did add a lot of extra clean up that next morning. We had several bales of straw strewn over our entire parking lot. Our rainbow swing/play set was also picked up and spread out about 20 feet away in the middle of the parking lot. One of our buildings lost a little bit of it's roof, and we had some carpeting get flooded in part of our church where the french doors were blown open, but all things considered we were very fortunate. There were homes and businesses in the area that were damaged much worse than we were.

We had 150 kids, and everybody had a great time! I've shared some pictures of our decorations at http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2088163682

Nancy, Everything looks great!

He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.

Beautiful indeed! Loved everything especially the BIG barn! Oh and the stables came out really nice. Wish I had done mine, but I am satisfied in seeing that so many were inspired by Kathy's idea and did some amazing ones. Oh, I also liked the chalkboard on the wagon. I have one just like it and wish I had used it. It reminded me of the old schoolhouses. Thanks for sharing. It's no doubt that everyone was blessed.

PJ those were the stables Rene made and that Nancy purchased from her.
