| | Our kids aren't using the web site, either. We have 4th-6th grade doing Grapple. To them logging onto the web site, especially to get the clues, seems like homework and they aren't interested. They love the lessons and the topics. I'd consider doing Grapple again next year, but really don't think it will be worth spending any extra money on the web site access for the kids. I wish there was an option to get the curriculum only. Also, we have a number of refugee students who don't have computers, and it always seemed a little unfair that some families don't have web access (or even a car to get to the public library to get on a computer for that matter) and can't participate fully. My other comment is that we do a lot of large group programming throughout the year to lighten the load on the teachers and Grapple wasn't very flexible with this regard. Our fall quarter web access ended before we were done with the 12 weeks worth of lessons, and then the spring curriculum wasn't available yet when I was ready to order it (we had to skip the winter quarter since it was more than half over by the time we were done with the fall lessons). This didn't leave much room for creativity/flexibility.
