| I'm not sure how much "freedom" she really has...driving kids up to 30 miles each way!! Sounds like a headache to me... And as much as I love VBS--I'm not sure that any kid needs it every single week of the summer. When do they just hang out, go swimming, spend the night at a friend's house, and all that fun stuff you're supposed to do in the summer?

Oh Peggy! Thank goodness! Could you imagine how appalling that would be to to have someone think it was a victory to get rid of their kids all summer?

Glad to find out it was made up, cuz it just made me mad. I'm a mom and I loved having my summers with my kids. I even was a lunchroom lady for years just so I could spend those 2 1/2 months with my guys when they were growing up. I know that's not possible for 98% of moms and I was truely blessed to be able to do that. Can't imagine doing all that back and forth. Wow. I love VBS as well, but yikes.
