I know it's been a while since I've given you an update and there are so few people on the boards these days but I finally have something to update you with....

I have been busy seeing doctor's, taking tests, reading and learning as much as I can, before finally making a decision on how to treat my breast cancer. So now, we are ready and I will be going to surgery on Oct. 5th. A few weeks later I will begin my radiation therapy. Please continue to keep me in your prayers, I really do appreciate them.

Thank you for all your prayers!

Yesterday, I had my surgery. I'm feeling pretty good...a little sore and tender (but no real pain...)

So I'm excited to report that it went well and I'm doing well.

I have radiation treatments to go before this whole thing is over but at least I have started on my way back to health.

Mindy,

I'm glad to hear that your surgery went smoothly and that you aren't experiencing a lot of pain. With the group of prayer warriors on this board, you can be assured that you are covered in prayer. We'll all be praying that your radiation treatment goes as smoothly as your surgery did and that it is God's will for you to become and remain a breast cancer survivor.

God Bless,
