| The week before we started Star Quest we played the theme from the old Star Trek TV series in the main church and I did a rewritten version of the opening monolog about our "unending quest for the nature of God" etc. Then we did a real brief little skit with lines from some of the main characters. We had the choir director interupt the skit by saying ," I thought the theme was Star Quest, not Star Trek!" The congregation loved it!

Very cool. I wouldn't have had the nerve. You're gonna love the skits on the DVD. I wish there were more of those in the program.

| We did the second week "God speaks to Job" today. The dialog between Job and God was a crowd pleaser with the motions directed by the Motion leader. If possible I would suggest Group look at the first line from God. There just isn't enough time for Job to say his lines, and the last one"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Gets swallowed up with God's reply. Otherwise, this week was just like the rest-fantastic!

My kids loved Moses and Job!
I've taken a word from each week to focus on. I put in on a large star. Unchanging/creator/trustworthy/perfect/love.
This unit I'm using Ps 19:1-6 as the Elem. memory verse.
