| I'm new to the forum. I've been attending the easy VBS programs at a friends church for several years and felt called to bring Night in Bethlehem to our church this Christmas. The interest and response has been great. We just had our Info Party on Sunday and almost have our leadership team in place. We will be looking on the Galilee-By-the Sea forum for ideas but hoped we might find some others doing NIB this year. Erin in MA

I'm not doing A Night In Bethlehem, but I am doing Bethlehem Village on December 2nd in a one day format. They came out with NIB after I started collection supplies, so I decided to modify it myself. I will be doing the family devotion books and stuff like that however.

| Is there a difference between Bethlehem Village and a Night in Bethlehem. We were able to use the Bethlehem Village during advent last year. I'm curious about the Night in Bethlehem.

I received our Night in Bethlehem yesterday and wished I had done more research before ordering. We did Galilee this past July and loved it all! I was falsely assuming this would be similar = but for those of you planning to use it more than one day I think you will need lots of cash. Basically it is an outreach to the community, which is good, but it's just as the title says. They come in, walk through the marketplace, stable etc and you need to have supplies for all visitors to make projects + give them the wooden bible memory stuff + food. For us, being small it's way over our budget and with no real info in the kit for the dramas etc. It's just something we could never work out. I'm terribly sorry we didn't get the Bethlehem Village - but found it unavailable when we were ready to buy. So, Matt - you did Great! you have everything you need to do either. I am looking forward to our Jerusalem Starter kit. As I said, it was my own fault for being dissappointed, I should have done more research. God's Blessings to all of you. Wanda hope this info helps someone.

| Bethlehem Village was the 2006 HolyLand VBS theme. I'm not sure where you can find any information on it. The website has been taken off the net, and about the only place you could find a starter kit would be on the Forum, eBay or somewhere like that.
