Just some feedback. I understand how dating each lesson can simply things if a church follows that schedule. Our Sunday School cl do not match up with the suggested dates, so it becomes a bit confusing. I wonder if it is possible just to write WEEK 1, etc, insteading of specific dates.

Thanks!

You've hit on our struggle. How many are using the dates (and therefore are helped by having the dates) versus how many do a different schedule. We have done some polling/surveying that asked about this, and based on response decided to leave the dates on FaithWeaver, but we dropped them from the FaithWeaver Friends journals.

Keep sharing your ideas. We do value your feedback!

God bless you and your ministry.

I use Middle School / Junior High Faith Weaver, and the only place I see dates are in the table of contents, listed underneath the lesson title. Everything else says Week 1, etc.

Having the dates listed in the contents is very helpful to me, because I can plan ahead and figure out which lesson we're doing, and know about when I'll be done with the book and need the next quarter. Also I find it easier to just hand the book to a substitute and say, "I'll be out November 11. Can you do the lesson marked November 11?" I don't always follow the schedule exactly but it does help to try to stay close to it. Also I like that the schedule matches the real calendar so we do the birth of Jesus at Christmastime, and the resurrection at Easter.

The Bible does say that God's power is perfected in weakness... I guess that means we should be seeing God's power just explode all over this place. - Brian Brophy
