Oh yes, they do fade rather quickly. Mine get direct light morning till evening! I also wish they would make it so that the colors don't fade, but I guess that would definitely add to the cost.

I'm can't wait to see how much the lab coats and the giant flask cost. They are great! Are they going to sell the giant backdrop of the flasks and beakers, too??

I think you'll learn how to make those in the Decorating Places DVD.

I am so psyched because all the resource advisors presenting previews get a free lab coat!  YAY!

The Lab coats are AWESOME. It's such a nice treat for doing the Previews and parties.

I am working to get Lab coats for all the station leaders.  I'm thinking T-shirts for our crew leaders. Some folks at the field test balked at the lime green color, but being a "summer gal" I LOVE it. AND I washed the t-shirts and they didn't fade.

I started planning for an authentic "Lab Look". You know, serious professors with professional looking attire, but then I saw how much color this VBS inspires and I quickly changed my mind.  I'm an "island boy" and also LOVE the lime green color. In fact, I want to have all the NEON colors for the staff. The colored t-shirts will look really cool on the Crew Leaders and especially under the Station Leaders' white lab coats.

I'm thinking like you that a Wacky scientist would certainly wear a hawaiian shirt under their lab coat OR clothes that don't match... absent minded professor type.  We still laugh about our wonderful pediatrician that wore a mulitcolor nautical belt, paisley shirt & high water pants under his lab coat.
