Please continue to pray for Jacob.  He is having a difficult time adjusting to school.  It is very hard in the mornings.  He gets so upset he says his heart, brain, or intestines are going to explode.

We have a narrower spectrum on what may be wrong.  The dr. at Scottish Rite Hospital says it could be fibromyalgia, Pain Amplification Syndrome, a vitami D defficiancy.  They did more blood work and x-rays.  They have also ordered a sleep study to be done to make sure there isn't any sleep apnea.  Please continue to keep all of us in your prayers.  We still have the road to travel before this is all done.

I continue to thank you for your prayers.  Jacob is dealing much better with his pain.  We survived the school year with God's strength.  Pray for him to accept the fact that he will have to repeat the 3rd grade due to missing so much because of the medical condition.  He has tests Wednesday and Thursday of this week.  The counselor that he has been seeing wants to do some tests to see if he has Asperger's.  If he does, it would explain a lot.  Thursday he has a nerve study with the neurologist.  Pray for him that day.  It is not going to be a fun day.  He sees the sleep doctor the first part of June.  Pray that we are getting closer to some answers.  Again, thank you for your prayers.

Is there any updates? I know it's been a while since the last one. I'll be praying for your kids.

Thanks for your prayers Josh.  There really aren't any new updates.  We survived school.  Jacob is taking karate 3 nights a week for his physical therapy, social skills, and self confidence.  He is supposed to see the sleep doctor at the end of the month if he doesn't reschedule do to being out of town.  This has happened to us 2 times now.  He didn't have to do the nerve study after all.  The neurologist didn't want to do it and cause Jacob to spin out of control again.  He did blood work to check for lead and to check his thyroid and other levels that had not been checked yet.  All of his labs came back normal.  He starts the tests for Asperger's Syndrome on the 23rd of this month.  We still don't have any answers on what is causing him to hurt.

Zoie's asthma is better but she keeps having bladder infections.  She had to have an ultrasound last Thursday but we haven't gotten the results back yet.  Nothing is going to be abnormal though.  Please continue to keep them in your prayers.  It has been a long road but God has carried us through and will continue.
