| | We have a wonderful Good Friday Day Camp from 10 to 3. We start the day with the 'Stones' play then journey to the cross. Children are grouped by age and go to stations. The station leaders reads the Scripture for that event, and then the children do some type of hands on activity. Here are last years: palm sunday - children wrote praise messages to Jesus on squares and then we made them into a quilt synagogue - children led a worship service Lord's Supper - Snacked on grave juice and crackers and washed each other's hands Praying at Gethsemene - Children placed prayer blanket around a person and prayed for them - also did handprint prayers The cross - they nailed a cross, smelled vinegar, felt a thorn Resurrection - wrapped someone in cloths, left the room, and returned to find empty tomb These are all so simple but the kids really love it and understand it. We then finish the day with lunch, a salvation bracelet craft, game time, balloon release, then special speaker. We are going to change it up a bit this year only because they remember last year so vividly! |

| | I'm interested in some new ways to offer an Easter Message to an all ages audience. The Resurrection Eggs have been done many times over, so I'm looking for something new. I like "The Stones" drama, but want something that will also speak to Preschool age children. Got any suggestions?

| | Hi, I have used the Kids Sing music and it has the Hosanna Medley song, which covers Palm Sunday and Easter. Then from a old VBS - From the Manger to The Cross song. |

| | I just received my copy of "IT" and found an awesome idea for my Easter message which is a simple retelling of Jesus' mission here on earth from his birth to the resurrection. We will also sing "Were You There". "IT" is awesome!!!!
