Mindy asked me to update you when I hear from Kevin.
He sent this late last night. I'm a little concerned that being from NY he might be choosing the "GIANTS" over Mindy. Oh well maybe the PATS will have a amazing lead right off the first quarter so he can focus on Mindy instead.

Hugs from ReJoyce in MA

Things are still going very well for Mindy. The pain is manageable and her biggest issues are mostly from being in bed since Thursday morning.

Tomorrow is a big day in that the doctors will have her try to get out of bed for the first time. We are not sure what to expect (well....pain, I guess). So say a prayer for Mindy for a good day of trying to sit up and walk. (And throw in a prayer for me that this doesn't happen during the Super Bowl.)

The staff are UC Irvine Med Center have been great!

The nurses are wonderful, even if they have to wake her up every hour to check that everything is going okay. And her doctors are very highly regarded by everyone we meet. Every nurse, technician, and every other doctor tell us what great doctors Mindy's two surgeons are and how they do amazing work. Well I would have to agree!

Thank you all again for all your prayers, encouragement and support!

Mindy, So glad that the surgery went well. Thank you for the update and nice to see Angel Joyce delivering it.

Hi Everyone!

I'm home!

I can't tell you how great it feels to be home! I've still got a long haul ahead of me, but the hardest part is over and I can look forward to feeling a little better every day....(And I was missing my kids terribly so I'm glad to be home with them again).

Thanks for all your support and prayers!
