I am the type that rarely asks for prayer, so this is a step for me.

My son had a little bit of a rash a few months ago.  I blamed it on the dry weather of winter.  Tonight, before his shower, he asked if I had anything for the rash.  He walked down the hallway and before he even stepped into the light I could see it.  His entire torso is covered with nasty, tiny sores.  I asked to see his hands to elimenate scabies (I know that is odd to do, but he goes to his dad's house twice a mth and has gotten it twice from there several years ago).   Well, I am 100% sure it isn't that (thank God).

However, they are everywhere and a few are on his face.  When I asked if there were anywhere else, he mentioned a couple on his legs.  They look almost like chicken pox but he has had those four years ago (he's 12).  He goes to the doctor tomorrow but I would just like a bit of prayer for him.  He is a very thin kid and he is always puny when something isn't feeling right with him.

Thanks you!
Peace in Christ!

Misty,

I am sure we can all suggest it being one thing or another. The best is to have the doctor check him and run tests (if necessary) to determine for sure. I understand your concern as a mother and therefore encourage you by saying that I have lifted up a prayer to the Pediatrician of Pediatricians for healing and recovery.

Misty, The doc will know when he sees what the rash looks like what it is. In the mean time if he is itchy bathing in Aveeno can help calm his skin. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.

I am adding your son to my prayers.  Let us know what you find out at the doctor office.
