| | I was planning the calendar for VBS and was wondering if anyone knew when the national day of prayer for VBS is? Last year this worked great and I wanted to do it again. I gave our ladies group a list of names of every person involved in VBS from leaders and decorators to some kids possibly coming. I even gave them the names of all the stations, the days of VBS, and things such as the weather. They made magnets with the clipart on them along with one of those names/station/concerns from the list. On the national day of prayer they gave each member of the congregation a magnet and asked them to pray for this person/thing until vbs was over. With prayer like this how could your vbs not be a hit? Just wanted to share!

| Great ideas! The National Day of Prayer for VBS is Sunday, May 18. Last year, I sent out a list to our congregation...40 Days of Prayer for VBS. It worked out well, but I think some people forgot to pray daily. The magnets are a great idea to remind people. I think I'll borrow that idea. Thanks!

| And don't forgret to add your church the VBS Prayer list on Dr. Blindstein's Lab. He will be taking the list to church and will be praying with others over every VBS, their leaders and children/parents that will be attending.
