| Luckly we kept our blindfolds from AV. One night for the bible story it called for stips of black fabric and we had plenty of it left over and we could just use those!! Yeah! I am so glad someone bought those up. Now the only problem is where are they in my AV stuff???

| Great idea I really like getting the cheap material and cutting strips off. Our church is very small and we have no VBS Buget or funds so any time we can save we try to. Thanks again!

| Yea I finally found some!! Group has them on back order and I am not a sewer and have looked at lots of stores. I really did not want to get material and cut strips and it would take time to tie the strips etc. during Bible Blast.
I found them at the Base Exchange. So if you are military, retiree or family member of someone in the military or maybe know someone at your church who can get on the base have them go and look in the hair care area. They come six to a package in different colors. Even had some dark one so boys would put them on.
Check that off my to do list. I know delegate let the station leader get it. Well, I'm married to my Bible Blast leader so his list is my list.

| | Last night I found a good deal on headbands at Walmart. They were on the "hair stuff" aisle, in the kids section. Vidal Sassoon -12 for $3.19. They have bold and pastel colors. I'm thinking they might be a little narrow, I forgot to test one on my kids this morning. If they are, we'll just stick a kleenex or something in there to help cover up their eyes. Pam |
