| | I downloaded the buddy art from the website, but I noticed that they do not have transparent backgrounds. Last year, someone (I wish I could remember who! Was it you, Pastor Joe?) posted modified buddy art that could be put onto colored backgrounds to make fun trading cards - actually, I think someone even posted already designed cards with beautiful backgrounds. We used the trading cards last year for the first time and they were a huge hit with the kids. A couple people have already asked me if we can have them again this year! So, two questions: 1. Do the buddy art files on the Clipart CD have transparent backgrounds? I just ordered mine this weekend so if they are there, I'll just try to practice my patience and wait for the mail to come. 2. If not, is there a PhotoShop whiz out there who can create some and share with us? Please, oh, please?  Thanks! Cheri in Indiana

| | Hi Cheri, Yes, I did make some with transparent background, but I am not sure those are shareable. Will have to check with Jody. I am not sure about the Clipart CD either since I never buy it, but I am almost positive they have transparent .gif images because so many have requested it. | | Don't plan on the CD having tranparartent clip art They have not in past years. Some time they are on the group website with free clip art. Please let me know if you do find some for this year Thanks

| | I used my photosuite to cut out the background. It worked real well at cutting around the buddies. Then, I tried to take that new transparent background buddie and use it in printshop but when I imported it the background wasn't transparent. I ended up having to make my nametags with the transparent background buddies in photosuite. |

| According to this post Melodie indicates that the CD does have clipart with transparent background. Melodie (2/9/2008)
One of the best things on the clip art CD to me are the Bible Buddies without any background. Makes it easier to overlap them and add them to any decoration.

| | I don't know if ya'all got the answers you wanted about buddies with transparent backgrounds. And, I don't know if these would work, but I downloaded the bonus craft ideas from the group VBS site. The first day's craft has the buddies in traceable form to make shrinkies. Would that help? Sue |

| | The clip art cd does have buddies with transparent backgrounds, but they are not in color. The only ones that I can find are in black and white. Let me know if you find different. |
