It sure is! And I accept the change as God given since, "ALL things for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose." Sometimes He uses situations and people to bring about good change. I will still miss you all dearly.

I will definitely miss all of you who will be leaving the Group VBS Message Board. It's a little discouraging that everyone's leaving and I'll be directing my first Group VBS next year. I hope you enjoy the VBS programs that you will be doing in the future. I'm sure they'll be good and you'll have some wonderful memories from them. All you really can do is pray and God will change your heart and attitide.

Remember Avalanche Ranch: God is good...All the time!

I'll be praying for all of you as well.

God Bless,

Josh T. in Ohio

Josh how exciting for you!  You will be an amazing servant for directing VBS!!  As for me, I still very much have my heart and hands in childrens ministry, and regularly check these boards for prayer requests or when I find myself standing in the need, so don't worry about this groupie disappearing.

You have always been an amazing friend to all who need it, regardless of anything that gets thrown at you, don't ever forget that!!

Many Blessings and love,

change is a good thing!

When the change is to build His Kingdom, I agree; it's very good.

When it appears to be about saving money, not so much.

You'll never convince me otherwise.

Josh, you are an amazing youngman and an example of true passion for Christ and the ministry. I pray that you continue growing in the knowledge and grace of the Lord God whom you so joyfully serve. Be encouraged in knowing that no matter where I go I will always be praying for you as I will for all those who form part of this great community. Remember that no matter what may come your way the one you have to obey, follow and please is the Lord your Savior. I pray that God would use you mightily in reaching children with the love of Christ. I pray and trust that he will supply ALL your needs and that you will prosper in all you do if you do it for his glory. THank you for being part of this family and for allowing me share my gifts with you. Have fun directing VBS, but above all be blessed and filled with POWER!!!

Two years ago... we made the change to another program from groups, wow what a difference. The message was there and fun theme... but NO Support. I just work in the background w/ props and during the program I help out wherever needed mainly w/ crafts.

I have been blessed w/ the ideas shared w/ you-all, and everyone thinks I just think these things up. I own a lot to this board and when the current director was asking what program to go w/ this year my 2 cents went to Groups. There was a couple of them thinking of something else and asked me would/could I build "this" my reply was "I retired". Then the current director told that they chose Groups, I came back from retirement.

I'm sure your program will be a blessing to all that attends... and I agree w/ the others God is in control and will direct in a positive matter.

God Bless

For our church money is not an issue and has nothing to do with the changes made.  We are richly blessed and always strive to do what will best build His kingdom. We always have ALL the "stuff" (and more) but that is not what it is about anyway

He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
