| I couldn't remember what the third item was. The swords you can get at party supply places. They are used to hold appetizers or if you know a child who likes to play castles and knights I have see small ones in legos, etc.
Hope this helps

| | Once again I must apologize for not having timely responses. We just can't quite seem to kick this nasty flu. I feel very behind on VBS and this Easter project. So, thanks for all of your help I'll start looking for sword toothpicks, praying hand stickers and making crowns. I guess I should have ordered some of that plastic barbed wire fencing from OTC to make the crowns with. I'd love to just order each kid their own pre-made kit. But since there's not a budget for this project . . . we all know how that goes! Anyway, it's back to work for me. Thanks! |

| Some suggestions I have seen for the crown of thorns:- Piece of rose stem with thorn(s)
- branch from a t bush
- grapevine wreath (one place said they come as small as 2 inches)
Janet I can't remember how old you said the kids are. Some of the above choices would be better than others for younger kids. |

| | We made the Ressurection eggs for our 10th grade girls. For the crown of thorns we used a thornbush that is actually something we have been trying to kill in out yard. We wrapped it in a circle braiding it around. I have also see people cut a piece of a rose stem with thorns on it if they are giving them to children. |

| | I am sorry this is late, but we took tooth picks and formed a spear head out of black sculpy clay. The coins we went to a party store and bought a bag of fake coins for $2.00 (144 in it), the praying hands we printed off our computuer on heavy cardstock then cut them out. Also (for our family) used pewter charms off ebay. We found the leather at a craft store, used muslin for the burial wraps, palm leaves from a cake decorating store. Hope this helps. We went after Easter, this week and bought our Easter eggs for next year. Walgreens has the best (we found white ones). For our girls we covered the top of the egg box with pale green fleece and put a pink boa around it. With scrapbooking letters we wrote..Who should spread His Word? had a mirror glued on top with You on it. The girls loved it. I had mine in the restraunt after church and a woman and her daughter asked what it was, I showed it to them and then gave it to them. |
